Bikini Baristas
After their adventure in Mexico, Ted and Chris return to Seattle. Chris settles in at his Dad's law firm; Ted goes back to work with female PI Catrina Flaherty.
The owner of a chain of bikini barista stands disappears in the California high desert. His wife hires Catrina to find out what happened. Cat and Ted follow a tawdry trail of ex-wives, girlfriends, money laundering and lots of people out to get him. Was he killed, or did he just fake his disappearance to escape his problems?
Chris gets his first case. A troubled young man becomes a folk hero as he evades capture through the Northwest and then, all over the country. Chris must represent this famous anti-hero.
But nothing is ever as it seems. Follow Ted and Chris as these two seemingly separate series of events intertwine for an astonishing conclusion.

Five-Star Review
He just keeps getting better!

This started out with one of those kindle specials on one of his other books. While I complained about some little misses (Glocks don't have safties, a Boss 302 dosent have a 428 ci engine, you don't need to adjust for elevation with a Weatherby 340 at 100 yds), the stories were fun to read. You do have to pay attention, because he works back and forth between so many points of view, but it makes a good read. Best of all, I have had 4 very good books for about what I would spend on a single new Cussler or Vince Flynn book. As I go back and read the very early Cussler books, I have to say Mr Wallace I'd writing better in this book then one of my favorite authors was writing in his early books. With these being electronic books, maybe he can go back and fix some of the tiny details he missed in the early books. He has a great cast now, and I look forward to many more in the series.
Just one thing Mr Wallace? Please, Please don't kill off the dog. OK?
Hell, maybe some day Chris and Ted can do the Port Huron to Mackinac Island race and I'll get to meet them!

Could not put it down.

Just like a racehorse, this novel kept going faster and faster. Fortunately I am retired, so I gave it my all. By the finish line, my heart was racing. Penn Wallace has done it again! Can't wait for the next book! Fabulous read.
