I see lots of posts in the Facebook writers groups asking for help in marketing their books. My friend, Mikel Miller, just asked this question, so I decided it was time to step up to the plate.
There are lots of marketing gurus out there that will be happy to take your money for a full--blown course in marketing. I can't afford that, so I learned the hard way. After trying hundreds of things that didn't work, I think I've finally found the answers, at least for me.
I am starting to have some success in this writing business, but I didn't get here by myself. I can't begin to count all the people who gave me their time to boost me up. It's time for me to start paying it forward. You'll find lots of helpful writing aid on my Website under the "Writers' Stuff" option on the "More" menu.
Feel free to use any or all of these ideas. Share them with your friends, just give me credit for writing them. I won't charge you a dime for this advice. Remember though, it's worth just what you paid for it. What works for me may not work for you. You'll have to pick and choose ideas from lots of different sources to build your perfect marketing plan.
