Summer is over and fall is moving into Southern California. The last couple of days have been overcast and in the high 60's. Brrr. I had to dig my jeans out of a locker. As I write, I have a blanket over my knees and I'm wearing a sweat shirt (with the Duck logo, of course.)
I can't believe we're into November. I have to call my cousins and make arrangements for Thanksgiving. This has to be a great Thanksgiving because I go under the knife the following Tuesday. We still haven't worked out the logistics of where I'm going to recover from the surgery yet.
I'm having a lot of fun with Cyberwarfare but things keep happening so fast in real life that I can't keep up. Kim Jong Un announced last week that North Korea has the capability of hacking into the U.S. power grid and shutting it down. That's the big climax of my book. At the same time, I read about cyber crimes all over the world. I have to write faster.
The big thing that's going to stand in the way of getting this book published quickly is my knee-replacement surgery. It's scheduled for November 28th. I have to admit I'm not looking forward to it or the recovery period. I just know I'll be better on the other side.
My next post will be one of Mama's stories. This one about her first American Thanksgiving. Until then, keep reading and be happy.
