Call for Beta Readers
“Frankly, the United States is under attack. Under attack by entities that are using cyber to penetrate virtually every major action that takes place in the United States.” - Dan Coats, the director of National Intelligence
“WASHINGTON — A newly drafted United States nuclear strategy that has been sent to President Trump for approval would permit the use of nuclear weapons to respond to … the most crippling kind of cyberattacks.” – New York Times, By David E. Sanger and William J. Broadjan. 16, 2018
Cyberwarfare is moving forward at a breakneck pace. It's always this way when I finish a first draft.
I'm working with the cover designer to produce five prototypes from which we'll choose the cover. Stay tuned, people on my readers list will get to choose the final version.
Right now, I'm in the process of editing the first draft. It should be ready in a week or so. In a couple of days I'm going to put out a call for beta readers. If you can promise, on your mother's grave, that you can read and fill out the report in two weeks, I'd love to get your input. This gives you a chance to see the raw product and I will use many of your suggestions in the final draft.
So, how do you become a beta reader? Easy, sign up for my readers list. In the next couple of days I'll be sending out the call for beta readers to my readers list. All you have to do is answer the email to be put on the list. I usually get a hundred or more volunteers, but only have room for about ten beta readers, so don't be disappointed if you don't get picked. You'll have the chance to see the final version before it is released when I put out a call for Advanced Readers next month.
In the meantime, read the other Ted Higuera books so you'll be caught up on the series by the time Cyberwarfare is released.
A terrorist organization launches an all-out cyber-attack on the United States. Ted is inexorably draw into the plot. Can he stay out of the grasp of Homeland Security and discover who is behind this mysterious attack before the terrorists send us back to the stone age?
