Fathers Day Approaches
Father's day is upon us. Once again, I'm posting my Fathers Day tribute to my father, Blue Water Charlie. For those of you who want to know more about Blue Water, click here to get my book about him, Blue Water & Me.
Life can get ahead of us. I've been so busy with life's little issues that I have not done a good job keeping up on my blog. My deepest apologies.
To give you a little update, I'm about 2/3rds of the way through the first draft of The Panama Murders. I had hoped to publish the book in June, but now it looks like It'll be more like August by the time I get the cover done. Don't distress, it is coming.
I've been having so much fun writing this book. As most of you know, we spent about 6 months on a tropical island off the coast of Panama in the Caribbean in 2016. Many of our adventures there are reproduced in this book.
When we arrived in Panama, they had just arrested a serial killer who killed five people in Panama after a bloody spree in the U.S., Mexico and Cost Rica. It was all anyone could talk about and it was a damn good story. I took his story, changed the names to protect the guilty, inserted Cat and her friends and, viola, we have The Panama Murders
Look for more Caribbean adventures for Cat in the future. I have the next two stories already lined up.
In the first, Cat and Cap'n Mac (who you will meet in The Panama Murders) track down a missing American girl in Costa Rica. After that, Cat takes on a software billionaire in Belize. Stay tuned.
Oh, by the way, the next Ted book, for which I do not have a title yet, is the story of his Green Beret uncle who went MIA in the jungles of Viet Nam four decades ago. New evidence has surfaced and Ted, Chris and the gang are off on a Vietnamese adventure.
I can't wait to get these stories in front of you.
